Restrangled, as long as you are using oil based energy and products, you are part of the problem. Funny how people rail against Big Oil and then make their lives comfy with..... OIL!

Lies, lies, lies being fed to the to American public.... ie: Gulf Spill
by restrangled infirst off, you can look up the chemical now approved by the epa today: .
it is so deadly, you should not breathe it in, or let it get on your skin.
it causes burns, disrupts reproduction in all fish/shellfish, and possibly humans, and should never be consumed.

What is the Christian Militia?
by cameo-d ini don't get it.. a couple of months ago i saw a video (rachael maddow) with all these people in senate, or congress, or whatever they were....praying with all the whoop-tee-do hand-holding, hand waving, head nodding, foot stomping, body rocking motions of out of control pentecostals.
so it seems apparent that the "religious right" is alive and well and totally infiltrating in high government positions.. but then, at the same time, there seems to be a consensus that there is a christian militia with intention of disrupting everything and hollering about the government taking away their rights.. i have seen videos with christians wearing their guns to church.
years ago, something like this would not be allowed.

David Koresh should have been arrested in town while he was separated from most of his people and the compound. Arresting him on his home turf was the height of stupidity.

Give Reasons Why The "Memorial" Is A Sham To You
by minimus ini wouldn't go.
i was given 3 invitations to be given to my daughter, my ex and myself.
i thanked them for the invites and just chuckled to myself.. if you decided to tell a witness why you weren't going to attend, what would you say?

MITM,
True, Jesus was speaking in metaphors. This fact has no bearing on my comments. The last supper was a type of metaphor called an object lesson. Today’s observance is also an object lesson.
He was still talking to far more than just the 12. People left because they did not like what He said, not because it did not apply to them. In fact, their complaining shows they understood His words to be directed to them. Show me where it says they left because it did not apply to them.
I thought that the words in 1Cor are Jehovah’s. Are you saying that only the words in red can be trusted? Or, are you saying that the words in red are more the word’s of Jehovah than the words in black? Do you ignore everything after the Gospel of John? Are you saying that with the passing of the 12, nobody should have done it since?

Busy Body, are you then agreeing that pointing this out does not automatically mean that it is an expression for support for criminals?

Becuse Jesus didn't instruct us to "keep" doing this. He did this with his 12 chosen Apostles, no one else.
And to qute only John 6:53 only is to take it out of context.
He had "many" disciples, yet they were not included in this event.
Wow. It is obvious that you didn’t notice the context. In verse 52 Jesus is talking to “them”. The antecedent of “them” is the Jews of the previous verse – NOT His desciples. Verse 59 states that He was teaching in the synagogue, not a private session with the 12. Verses 60 and 61 show the desciples as being upset by what He said. The reason they left in verse 66 was because they did not want to to partake, not that it wasn’t offered to them.
If it is only for the 12, who is the following written to?
1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Catagorically stating that renting is better than owning is incredibly stupid. For people living beyond their means, the thing to do is buy a less expensive house using the equity from the first one. I couldn't rent a dumpy little apartment for what my mortgage and taxes are. With inflation about to sky rocket (due to the gov printing another trillion) renters will take it in the teeth.

Every time some whack job commits a crime with a gun, Lefties try to use it to its full potential to push their own agenda. Pointing this out does not mean that someone supports the criminal.

Church blesses fathers with beer
by Mythbuster inhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/religion/5587035/church-blesses-fathers-with-beer.html.
bottles of beer will be given to fathers who attend church, in an alternative "blessing" for father's day.. by jonathan wynne-jones, religious affairs correspondent.
published: 9:00pm bst 20 jun 2009. a senior bishop has backed the move, which is part of a church of england initiative to put a christian emphasis on the annual celebration of fatherhood.. concerns over the lack of men attending services year-round has led clergy to offer a range of incentives today, including free beer, bacon rolls and chocolate bars.. it is the first time that the church has attempted to treat fathers' day in the same way as mothering sunday, which has traditionally formed part of its calendar.. the plan to distribute ale has upset groups working to tackle alchohol abuse, but the rt rev john inge, the bishop of worcester, said that it could help churches to attract more men.. he argued that the free beer was intended to be symbolic of "the generosity of god".. men at st stephen's church in barbourne, worcester, will be handed bottles of beer by children during the service.

I wonder if they will be given the bottles as they enter or leave the church.

Since when do we see atheists flying planes into buildings or blowing up night clubs and subways just to make a reliigous statement?
The 20 th century saw numerous terrorist act by atheistic communist regimes.
Have you ever seen an atheist or Devil worshiper (or agnostic) flying planes into buildings or blowing things up to force whole nations to become agnostic, atheist, or Devil worshiping?
YES!! Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and others murdered in excess of 100 million people in order to cram their atheistic communism down the throats of entire nations equaling ¼ the population of the entire world.
Or, starting a whole major portion of the world into a Dark Ages?
The Dark Ages began as a result of the collapse of the Roman Empire followed by plagues and famines. If anything, the Roman Church preserved society and knowledge. Oppression was a result of the feudal system.
It is easy to claim to be more moral than the next guy when you are the one defining what is moral.
